4 wheel drive light won't come on.

    Bone stock for now
    The front ADD actuator isn't that expensive,and can be had for around $200.Just about all the problems with the 4wd system point to this part.Just try to get the latest and greatest part,seems like it has been revised several times.

    Oh, that was replaced by Henderson Toyota dealer... the t case ADD. Wasn't covered by my extended warranty co.

    Funny, they changed the front one. Makes me wonder how much they know about the crap they sell us?

    Transfer case issue finally fixed. I was able to find a used Transfer case shift actuator. Swapped it out and the only issue was adjusting the clock. Setting the position of the shift rod and gear switch.

    Check the dash light indicator put the 4wd switch in 2wd.Push in the spline shift rod , then line up the cap to the base. Picture it linning up the base with metal fork rubbing the caps contacts. It took me a couple of tries. Check by with motor on in neutral turn the switch to 4hi. If the red fig. flashes on dash then re adj. if it's green then it's good.
