    I know there are PLENTY of fuel injector cleaners out there.

    But what’s the best???

    and does it take just one application for a full cleaning?

    dealer told me yesterday i can get some real good cleaning for about $250 :eek:
    anybody ever have that type of service done?

    takes ~2 hours I think he said
    they use BG stuff, not sure what else

    it will make my truck sooo much faster too, he also said
    snake oil or not :confused:

    Kings,total chaos uppers, Deavers, JBA headers, Borla exhuast, engine mods, DC power 270 amp alt, 2k watts of sound, gps alarm.
    Send em to RC injectors in Ca, they cleaned mine and rebuilt them professionally with exact denso parts, and sent them back cleaned flow benched and a printout of flow beforehand and after. It’s about 150 and they package them up nicely and send you, your old o rings and pintels. Next day service too, I had two tested that dripped out of my six, and they match them to the same flow, racers do this even with brand new injectors to match flow, they have the worlds fastest Supra running their custom built injectors. They tell ya nothing in a can will make them flow correctly, I’ve used every type over the years and now will only have these guys clean and match mine.

    To me if it is not broke don`t break it!!

    Starting to bleed into the manifold so full of dirt the spray is a trickle time to do some work .

    Get another set of injectors send them out install them send the set you removed out when you feel the need change them again repeat .

    Seems to be luck some get 75,000 miles the next gets 250,000 miles my original are 230,000 miles

    'Cleaning fuel injectors is a service frequently recommended by dealers and repair shops. But unless there are noticeable signs of clogged fuel injectors (such as a rough idle, stalling, poor acceleration or high emissions levels), it might not benecessary.'

    is this with NO cleaning or additives,etc ever?

    I’ve never had an injector actually fail, but I’m guessing a dirty one like a dirty filter
    would not let the engine perform as well as it should

    are you equipped with the scientific measuring equipment to plot and graph the data points, (before and after measurements)

    Next time I need a rebuilt on the supercharger I probably will do this because the supercharger has to be completely removed to get to them

    From what I've read, proper functioning injector shoots a fine mist of fuel. When this mist is compromised(debris or anything keeping it from engaging or sealing off fully, etc) the fuel air mix doesn't cumbust fully or as complete as it should. Or something kinda like that lol
    But i imagine it's a real thing that accomplishes real goals because race cars do it:D

    That or Techron are about the best you can do for just throwing something in the gas tank

    BG officially recommends FI service every 15k miles, many dealerships such as mine (Cadillac) will recommend every 30k.

    i do recall getting the fuel injector cleaning as part of the yearly maintenance packages in the early days (may have been every 30k perhaps 15k (will check))
    then in 2oo7 they pretty much stopped having the all-inclusive packages and started doing chit ala carte, totally messed up my scheduled maintenance :(
