I had been avoiding this thread in fear of spoilers as I didnt watch it always on sunday, but man I couldnt have said it better myself...I knew I couldnt be the only one utterly dissapointed with the last season that took two years...this season just felt like an afterthought and "lets wrap this up nice and tidy" what a bummer.

 

I heard the reason it took 2 years is one of the actors had a disagreement with the director and threatened to quit

 

Maybe Bran or Cersei thought they were doing too much.

 

YO I literally speculated this and told my friends maybe some of the actors protested. I wouldn't doubt it!

Yep, this is it. No where did they say how many they started with, and in the episodes following the battles, the armies do look considerably smaller than they did in the initial episodes. They still have a ton left, its still just a fraction of what they started with though.

 

Perhaps its true for the Unsullied, but the writers themselves said it was the end of the Dothraki in the "post episode thing" after the Long (shortest) night episode.
They're just full of contradictions...

 

Yea I remember that... lol When they started charging through the streets of King's Landing, my wife and I both said "huh, I guess the dothraki weren't wiped out... 0_o"

I didnt think about that till just now, the entire army of Dothraki were slaughtered by the dead...why were they in the last episode..

 

I'm sorry people but this show ruin the renaissance fair for us last weekend.

I don't think they all got killed, remember Jorah went out with the Dothraki and he came riding back with a lot of them. Their flaming swords all got put out but not all of them died. The ones that didn't get killed retreated back to the front of Winterfell.
