Does anyone know of someone in Northern California (Petaluma area) who has a good amount of experience with supercharged 1st gen Tacomas? I have been having an issue with start-up and idle for the past few months and have taken it to two different dealers and two private shops and I'm always greeted with people scratching their heads wanting to just shotgun parts at my truck with no real answer to what the problem might be. If not then maybe some suggestions on what it is that might be causing the problems.

Synopses of the issue. Id say on about 30% of startups, my truck will immediately want to die or it will bounce between 250rpm and 1500rpm until it eventually dies. If however, I give her some gas and hold it around 2k-2500 rpm she will eventually catch herself and run normally. This has happened on a few occasions while I am actually driving and ill have to shift into neutral and perform the same "fix it" procedures as stated above.

    Thanks in advance!

I would edit your thread title to be more specific. The "help" threads are usually if someone is stuck on a trail or something and needs actual help. There have been several threads where people have rallied and helped out a fellow member in this way.

Have you cleaned/inspected the throttle body, cleaned/tested the IAC, etc?
