I don't know how good the scrape was, but he only went about 40 yards after that last time.

Yea I got the bug already. I've been hunting with a crossbow the past two seasons. Not quite the same as a compound so this is the first year I've taken the plunge. I can't wait to see some red arrows!!!

Seen a nice buck while on vacation in Hilton Head two weeks ago. Everything was fine until they were spotted by everyone else. People were running back and forth trying to take pictures. Me and my son just watched the show from the balcony! I told him to never act like that, but he's almost 4, so we'll see if he remembers.

After we got done checking the game cameras we were driving around the ranch and at 2 o’clock in the afternoon we saw a mountain lion in the middle of a field almost 3 miles from that camera.

    AZ people!

    I am confuusssed!

So I am moving from NM to AZ in Aug. NM doesn't do point system and is pretty easy to navigate. Now since I am used to NM, AZ seems confusing af.

Basically I want to buy a bonus point for deer. To do this I need to purchase a non-resident license. Here in NM are licenses are from April to the following March no matter when you buy your license. AZ it seems like I put in the date I want to start and then it is a year after that.

Since the deadline is June 11th - can I purchase a hunting license for August (since that is when I am moving) and still be able to buy a bonus point deer, or do I have to put a date before June 11th to be able to buy the point.

    Thanks!
