    Greetings!

I was able to take advantage of the 40% TRD sale on April 4th and purchase a number of parts. Upon receipt and unboxing I noticed a back skid plate bolt was missing. The bolt is M8x1.25x35, I believe it is a 12mm head. The dealer I ordered from could only replace it by exchanging...they cannot locate a part number for the bolt so I went to a local auto parts store and purchased said bolt however the finish on the bolt is not the same as the OEM bolt. I believe the OEM bolt is galvanized to prevent corrosion. Does anyone have a part # or a website I can find the correct bolt with the appropriate finish? I hear you can reuse the OEM bolt (from the TRDOR skid) but it is not as long, 35MM.

    Any help would be appreciated.

The bolt is not sold individually by Toyota. It comes in a package containing all of the TRD skid plate bolts.

I believe the kit part number is: PTR60-35160-HW

I have a correct bolt from Napa, it just didn't have the same finish, it's shiny as opposed to galvanized.

Galvanized going through steel into aluminum? Mixed in with a little road salt, sounds like a battery to me!

Just kidding, I wouldn't be worried about it.

Mine also came with a missing back bolt. I went with the true value stainless bolt with anti-seize. I did call the dealer I got the plate from and the parts guy sent me a bolt. I will probably replace my stainless one someday.
