    Oooh c70

I’m coming from a hardtail 29er as well, and love the big wheels. The instinct is what I was looking for when I called them. He just happens to have a thunderbolt as well that I might take for a parking lot spin just for poops and giggles.

Congrats on the new whip! Enjoy it.

Who here already had a hitch mount rack when they bought their truck and still prefers it over other options? I just traded in a 2012 Xterra for a 2019 ORDB and have had a RockyMounts Monorail for less than a year on the Xterra. Prior to that, I used the internal rails in the Xterra to make my own stand with a couple of fork mounts. In spite of the extra security, I loved moving to the Monorail and not having to deal with taking the front wheel off or seat (before getting a dropper).

Now I'm wondering if I'm better off with a tailgate cover or some flavor of a fork mount option inside the bed (to protect the bike a little better), while still being easier to get it in and out than with the Xterra. There's also the issue of the Monorail making my rear camera and rear collision sensors useless.

We don’t have snow here, but have had several inches of rain this week, which is just unheard of in May. But my wife was really itching to ride, so tried a road ride, on our mtn bikes. After about 15 miles and 2000’ climbing ... can you say boorring ... we veered off on the first legal dirt. Not boring, but can you say mudddy?! Felt bad for the trail, but there were big fresh hoof marks so didn’t feel too bad. Did about 5 muddy miles, then 5 more pavement to home, covered with mud from tip to toe.

But my new Maxxis Aggressor did well. Packed up occasionally, but almost always got grip and cleaned out well. Spun out once or twice on climbs, but the tire gripped better than my 5.10’s when I tried to walk.

Currently debating between the 27.5 CF Comp or the 27.5 CF Pro. I can't decide between the two to pull the trigger

Looks like I'm going to have to live vicariously through you guys for longer than I thought. No cycling (other than indoor on a trainer), running, upper body resistance training, or anything else that could jar my upper spine until at the earliest early August. On the plus side they gave me some muscle relaxers that knock my ass out when I go to bed.

    too many to list
I sold my kuat sherpa when i got my tacoma. Went with bedrock rails and frontloaders. I mounted them out enough that I have full rear view mirror view, and my reverse camera is no longer blocked. Still have full use of the bed too.

Fuuuuuck thats what I want my jeffsy to be when it grows up. Part of me wishes I went with the pro race from the start. I got the AL base because i crash more than I care to admit and dont think im ready for the step up to carbon. Im slowly making it into a Pro race though with xx1 drivetrain and a factory transfer dropper so far. Going to do the fork and brakes at some point next. Maybe when Im ready to go carbon, I can just find a frame and transfer my stuff over. Damn those bikes look good. LOVE the Jeffsy

    Old whip new drive train.

2012 Trek Rumblefish running 1x11 11x46 sunrace cassette with an SLX shifter and Derailleur out back and a 32 N/W up front. Still a fun ride.
