Another 'clunk' thread...04 Taco w/clunking front end

    with the skid plate off you should be able to get a torque wrench on one side (the rear of the LCA I think) with an extension on the handle (I used my floor jack handle) and that worked for me. The fronts I can't remember what I did....I know I couldn't get a torque wrench in there but I think maybe I found a way to get a normal wrench on it and just gave it a shitload of muscle. I honestly don't remember for sure, it was difficult though. But the rear I was able to get a torque wrench on.

    I can definitely get at the front bolt with a torque wrench. The rear bolt, there just isn’t any room between the steering rack boot and the bolt to get a torque wrench in there. I can get an open ended/ box wrench on it for sure.

    I may have had it backwards in my head, it was probably the front I got to easily and the back I had to use the open end wrench on.

    When I come to a stop mine will do a clunk, but it also sounds like a moving or spinning. Like the CV is still spinning or the rotor.
