My 2gen Tacoma, driver side "NEEDLE BEARING" is vibrating. It just starting vibrating one day ago and I was wondering how long would it last me before fully breaking down? Would the ECGS T8 clamshell be worth switching over to? Or should I just stick to OEM?

If it's just the typical needle bearing vibe, it's just a nuisance issue. It's not going to grenade on you.

Lift front of truck with a jack and wiggle your tire, if it’s loose it will be the wheel bearings which is easy to replace, just replaced mine. Needle bearing replaced with an ecgs bushing isn’t that bad either, just a little more steps. You can get the needle bearing puller tool on here for free and then send it to the next guy that needs it, that’s what i did. There are some Great step by step videos on how to replace both.
