Thanks! I'll check it out. I guess one of the good things is I only allow drinking water inside my truck; has never been eaten in.

I should have mentioned that I use the ultrasonic noise makers. I basically use the “all of the above” strategy.

When I was researching Tacomas before my purchase, I came across a website that provided data from some database of the most common mechanical problems for all make, model and year of vehicles. For Tacoma’s and Tundras, “electrical - rodent damage” was the most frequently cited problem. I thought that was odd, so I did some more research and discovered that there were class action law suits filed against Honda and Toyota for this issue. Apparently they both use wire insulation that is made from a soy based product that rodents like to chew. FWIW, the law suits were dismissed. You can purchase some fairly expensive rodent-repelling electrical tape to re-wrap your wires, which might help (that’s the one thing I haven’t tried). However, both of the times mice got my Tundra, it was in areas I doubt I would have been able to access to wrap wires, so it wouldn’t have helped anyway.

Added a sub/amp to the stock stereo system. Very easy install and makes the stereo 100% better for fairly cheap. Sounds better than my buddy’s JBL system and a much cheaper option. Also plug N play

I was told at the dealership and by the insurance company that it's more common than you would think. I'm thinking all of the above as well! :infantry:

Sacrificed the Magnaflow to go back to stock after I painted the stock muffler and pipe black. Looks puny in comparison, but no chrome

Been a while since I’ve posted anything in here. This is everything done since I got back from deployment a month ago.

    1. Powder coated rusted method race accent bolts.
    2. Got a great deal on brand new set of Rotiform 6 with fresh Open Country’s and sold the methods.
    3. Removed some of the graphics before completely removing them.

Simple mod, I looked at the mountain hatch and mobtown tail gate options, but they are over $200. This is 1/4” HDPE from Tap Plastics which was $54. Took me longer than expected to install as I only had a little finish router as it wouldn’t close with a 1/4” thickness on the edges. But looks good enough and saves my knees when I’m crawling up....and it was only $54 :)

I've been really tempted to get the mountain hatch but can't justify that price tag. There are a lot more mods I'd rather get before spending $200+ on it. I may just look into doing something similar to you. Thanks for posting!

Ordered matte black 17” pro wheels from BAM Wholesale Parts. Quick processing and shipping, would have been perfect except the FedEx delivery driver dropped one on end in my driveway. So I’m 3 of 4, and pending a replacement for the one damaged.
