yeah from what I've seen/heard from others it's not something urgent, but it's annoying as hell to me lol. Especially if you're parked next to another car or a wall or something, it can be pretty damn loud.

It's most obvious if there is strain on the transmission. Parked up a hill and put in reverse. Or parked down a hill and put in forward gear.

Mostly, I just hear it going from P to R.

Ditto, I have a manual but it's the same story. Usually get the 'ping' when accelerating from a stop or putting it in reverse, sometimes even when changing gears if I'm not 100% smooth with the clutch.

You don't just upload the photos via the "upload a file" button to the bottom right of the post? Or do you mean you're uploading them to TW through Dropbox instead of directly off your computer/phone?

On my computer I have a folder on the desktop I put photos in and then just drag them into the post I'm making, I don't think there's ever been viewing issues that way

Also, its not making a metal on metal scraping sound, it was more of a rubber on metal squeak. I had two leafs binding at the little clamp yesterday, making a horrendous scraping sound. Angle grinder solved that issue, had to cut a tiny bit off my new add a leaf as it was a touch too long and binding against the clamp.

All in all, this is a huge testament as to why you shouldnt buy cheap leafsprings. I dont think I wouldve had any of the headache had I bought J59's in the first place, nor would I have had to take them out 4 times...

When these cheapos inevitably sag in a few years, I wont hesitate to drop the coin on some J59's.

That doesn't say good things about the auto haha, "the only way you'll want one is if you're physically crippled"

This excuse never has worked for me, it really isn't that hard. The tacos have some of the softest hydro clutches I've driven. Maybe for a beginner though, then I could see not wanting to jump right into traffic

I'll say this instead, I don't live where there's traffic anyway because more things than figuring out how to use a clutch suck about it

Wouldn't call them young, played 20+ years of competitive hockey as a goalie, still do...they've seen abuse. Or maybe that keeps them young.

I've only lived in LA in the 16 years I've been driving a manual, it's never bothered me

Man i've been through SLC like 5 times in the last year. Never had an issue with traffic ever. Especially if you can use the HOV lane then its like super fast.

Just let a huge gap of space between you and the next guy if your in stop and go traffic. When things start to move put it in first and idle. Someone lo range is fun too. Who care if people get in front of you. That's half the reason traffic jams exist is because nobody is willing to let people change lanes or they're too incompetent to match speed.
