I'm in no way super mechanically-savy but I looked at my leafs today and they don't have the biggest "smile" anymore if that makes sense. Does anyone have a picture of what they SHOULD look like and what the SHOULDN'T look like? Thank you guys for the help in advance.

Okay, that's great. Mine don't have any kind of negative arch, I just didn't know if they were toast or not. :bananadance:

To be honest, though, what's the likelihood that your 15 year old springs aren't worn out, though... How many miles does it have?

181,000 but I bought it from a guy a few months ago who seems to have taken care of it pretty well. I'll run outside and get some photos of them real fast so you can be the judge.

Well judging from what I see maybe I was wrong. Upon looking again they kinda seem to go down on one side but go up on the other. Dunno what that means but I'll upload the pictures here shortly.

    pics didn't work....

But just judging on the mileage alone, your springs are likely worn out.

Time to think about some new ones. Unfortunately, there aren't a ton of options for springs if you want to stick to stock height. There are a few threads around, and I remember a while back someone posting about a company that sells stock height ones that are decent. From what I've heard it's pretty much General Spring or whatever rockauto sells unless you go to a dealer and pay out the nose for OEM. Neither are the highest of quality. No personal experience with them, but I hear they tend to sag fairly quickly.

There's a member here who works for a toyota service department (Camelback Toyota) and they generally have pretty good prices on factory OEM stuff. @gunny1005 may be able to help there.

If you are thinking about lifting it, there are several options, but that's another discussion entirely, and there are several threads currently active you mind get info from...

Well, I could probably look around and find some. If not my cousin is a master mechanic at a Toyota Dealership so he usually helps us with tune-ups/ getting parts for free or at a real good discount.

Yeah, if you got connections for OEM, do it.
