Good call, if that brake clean was the culprit I'd suspect you could just have them recoated

Yes I bondo’d the Underdog ID marks and painted it black so it appears to be a stock pulley. However that was all done outside the truck.

The ID marks are radiator side so no way it could be interfering with something.

I really don’t have $600 to drop on a new rotor assembly from High Speed Labs, wonder if they can just coat my existing rotors.

Well I suppose this is better than the truck actually starting and bending a valve or something from debris.

I already asked him a few times if he was sure nothing could have gotten in there. I'm at a loss other than that Teflon there's nothing in the rotor casing really. When he assembled it after cleaning it all he was able to spin it and he didn't take the rotors out of phase when he was putting it together.

I'm sure the starter trying to pull it though would have done some damage if there was some to be done.

I'd put your borescope down the cylinders to make sure that something didn't enter the cylinder

Okay so my ECU has been making a high pitched noise the past week. It changes how loud it is And goes in and out over bumps. Anyone ever experience this?

March. I know what you're saying - the speed and efficiency of new autos is amazing. I don't prefer diesel for much other than durability and if I was into rock crawling or had a heavy rig I would probably be more into it. Definitely prefer manual stuff myself - full float in the width I'm looking for aren't cheap but that would be nice too.

Yes today. Thought is was a noise from vacuum lines or something. Very curious now!

    It’s been pretty irritating. Do you have a S/C 3.4l with a 7th?

Finally broke down and purchased a Pioneer stereo to replace the OEM. Factory one had a short, and would lose and regain output to the right speakers when going over bumps. Just an AVH-210EX, mid price, I suppose. Looking forward to having the rear view camera, though. Doesn't take much to satisfy my needs, not an audiophile for sure. Need only have enough power to compensate for my bad hearing and MT tires.

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
Well, I'm halfway there with the new wheels and tires. A remodeling guy at my house today said he had early 1st gen with wheels that rubbed the caliper. For his, he ground the calipers. I'm thinking about grinding my fronts tomorrow and going ahead with installing wheels. I don't think I will see the Bora spacers until after the 1st of the month.

With only the new wheels and tires on the rear, it already drives and rides much better. Tire size is 245/75R16. Nexen Rodian AT Pro RA8.

Someone want to buy this so I won’t be tempted? I’m guessing it’s a steal of a deal assuming it’s in good shape. Sucks I don’t have the extra money for it56081255-7C20-4455-9112-3F42ECA2C9A3.jpg

Hard to say without knowing the condition and if it includes everything.

I have been keeping an eye out for a deal on a supercharger though. :spy:
