Awesome grill surface. More wins at the national steak competition than any other accessory I would bet. Once you cook a steak on them you will be hooked. Lots of info at grillgrate.com

I didn't use much because I wasn't sure how spicy it was. It has a nice, well-rounded flavor and I enjoyed the smokiness that the pepper salts add.

No problem. They were one of my our sponsors when we cooked competitively. Brad and the team there are really awesome people with a first rate product.

Went to pick up 600 lbs at Home Depot. They processed my online order at the pickup counter, then called someone to bring it up. I was told to go to the contractor pick up spot.

I drove over there, walked inside, and couldn't see anyone who would help me out. Next thing, I hear a beep beep from a forklift.

They forklifted a pallet of charcoal out of the bay door and dropped it in the Tacoma's bed.

The funniest part was, when I dropped the tailgate and opened the bed cover, there were two bags of Stubb's charcoal briquettes back there.

Way easier to load this way than the bag by bag method they usually do.

I'm sure you don't need me to give you ideas, but here I go anyway...I picked up a Jumbo Joe for camping. It's great for the portability, but if it's just you and the old lady and y'all want some charcoal grilled steaks, it's a good way to do it without having another monstrous grill taking up space on the deck.

I thought you were nuts until I saw the pictures later on. Makes the guys trying to carry all of the grocery bags in the house in one go look like amateurs!

Sending this to my wife for sure. I've asked for them for my Genesis for father's day / my birthday. That'll help a bit!

If talking about sex life, I’d said “I hadn’t scored a butt in what seems like 30yrs” something about prostrate removal/cancer puts a huge damper on that...

@bvbull200 you asked earlier what everybody’s cooking this weekend lolE7B862E1-0A3D-44E8-84A6-BAA4EBD455E1.jpg
An uncured ham that’s getting the butt treatment, my first ever Costco brisket and an as of yet unpurchased brisket

The offset stick burner will be almost filled up :)

I got my Jumbo Joe originally for camping and when at a cabin hunting.

But I find myself using it at home more than my other grills when doing just sausage burgers or steaks.

Yes the grillgrates cost as much as the Jumbo Joe but worth it, at least to me.

The bottom vent tab is a bit of a PITA so I took a file handle and drilled a hole in the tab to make it easier to throttle air.

Cajun Bandit has a sale right now with 10% off (Code MEMDAY), and their 18" rotisserie is reversible and fits both the 18" kettles and 18" WSM.

The motor also takes batteries so you can run it while camping with no tree to plug it into. The look on other peoples faces when they smell and see chicken spinning on a stick on your Jumbo Joe in the middle of nowhere? Priceless. Taste even better too. The roti is more than the JJ but also worth it, to me. We're here to help you spend your money LOL, you can do it in stages and over time instead of one shot also.

 Absolutely love the Grillgrates on the Genesis

If there is a downside to them it would be that they work almost too well. I find myself using the gasser more than I used to because the food taste so good and always comes out perfect. No matter what it is.
