I have the same set up.. why didnt you just tap into the speaker for a signal? Could have saved you 32 bucks ... and it fits in the passenger cubby without cutting .. either way i love this little thing for what it costs

    Stickers gone.
The last 4 months have been upgrade month. Body Armor 4x4 rear bumper, AVID off road front bumper guard, Body Armor 4x4 DOT fog light pods, CaliraisedLED install kit with amber fogs, 2" Toytec spacer/leveling kit frt and 1.5" rear. FYI, I'm running 265/75/16 Michelin LTXs on TRD Pro Wheels. They give me great gas mileage and take the load off of the transmission that causes a lot of hunting for gears.

Installed the dashtop single mount (DSM) from thetacogarage.com yesterday afternoon. Wish I would've bought it sooner! Best part is when you aren't using the mount you can remove the RAM ball and it looks as if nothing is there - plus I still have full functionality of my air vent . Highly recommend.

I like the plug n play myself, also I wanted the bigger cubby still intact. I didn’t cut anything, the two sides come apart. I can always put that right back in

Prepping for a glamping road trip to Mount St. Helen's in a week or so....test run around the neighbourhood a couple days back, first time towing the trailer with The Grey Ghost

As expected, the Taco pulls the little trailer like it ain't there, even easier than the old Highlander, perfect.

The Redarc brake controller performed flawlessly, very pleased with it...once I got it installed

Anytime a product says 'plug and play', be afraid, very afraid....and make sure you have your favourite libation in stock....

That was the joke with Microsoft when they incorporated that capability into their OS years ago. Failed at least 50% of the time in the field.

My Extang Trifecta has the same Truck Hero badge on it. Yeah we are all under the same umbrella. I would of bought the X-15 if I could of got vinyl. Like the way they put the tensioner close to the tailgate.

You can get a black vinyl grille logo inlay decal to cover some more chrome up. Just be sure to put in the notes your year of truck and you have the TSS if you order one. This is the correct link though.
I was thinking about getting a blue one for my truck. Wish he had florescent green or hunter orange.

Thanks, Brother.....on the other hand, if that was the biggest challenge I face this month, I reckon I will survive :) Frustrating as it may have been, it beat being at work..."the worst day installing an irritating mod is better than the best day at work :D

Yeah, it should be a cool trip...been on my bucket list for nearly 40 years, nice to be finally getting around to it

Even this far north it scared the bejeezes out of us, everyone heard the 'boom' and watched the cloud for days, and dealt with ash fallout....and being pre-internet, we had to rely on the tele and radio for information, and of course all we heard were dire warnings about our own volcanoes...so, it will be good.

Plus...there are loads of off-road trails in the area, looking forward to exploring with The Grey Ghost

    Pictures to follow

Been trying to find a set up for my bike like this but would like to keep the front wheel on. I have a short bed so I’m not finding many options
