The best part about the 6MT, is it’s very difficult for a new driver to txt and shift at the same time, plus I don’t have to worry about any of her friends borrowing her car...

 

straight facts! all good concerns, and that's a good preventative.

I am so much more inclined to use my phone driving my automatics than when I had manuals. Autos just get boring lol

 

Very neat scenery. So how are the new tires and the lockers working out??? Any difference in the gas mileage?

 

@whitedlite how do you like your twin compressor? I’m also trying to figure out how I’ll set mine up once mounted in the engine bay with fittings and all. How’d you do yours?

 

We were discussing a trip on June 15th.

i have the Slee Offroad bracket for mounting. Also since I use the compressor for lockers I have mine routed through the air locker manifold kit. The twins do not come locker ready without that accessory.

 

and people will still be asking 6-9k for them 10years from now.

Think it’d be too much more work to just set up a 1 gallon tank instead of the manifold? I kind of want to ability to run an impact gun for short spurts if I can.

My youngest's baseball awards start at 6pm. I'm free all morning until then, unless Jeannie wants to do something. We're kayaking Terrapin on Sunday, BBQing with friends on Monday, so it looks like tomorrow morning may be my only chance.

 

I don’t know of anything else other than those roads around sylacauga.... what else is there?

 

I'm damn tempted to pull these Predator bars off. Those steps are going to take away at least 4-5" of my ground clearance! Not unless the 600 roads are THAT easy.
