This seems strange, but the scrape happens on the passenger side. I'll see if I can find a different brand of 1/4 inch. I think the last one didn't allow enough of the lug stud through the wheel to get the lug nuts started. This is my 2nd attempt at spacers. I'm seeing pictures of when this was done. I'm starting to get out of the mood.

I'll have to find the spreadsheet. Just remember Wyoming was at the top of my list. Was around 2 years ago that I was looking in to all of it.

I have found mine seems to be my rear leafs, once I can get the truck on jack stands I'll confirm 100%

4-Lo works great for traffic  Just bee-bop around like a turtle until the speed gets over 25 mph :turtleride:

If you want a 4x4 you'll pay a good price down here but I was looking for a V6, manual 4x4 so that could actually be the reason. A DC 4x4 is probably easier to find so never mind

I did need longer studs. The factory ones were long enough to grab a few threads though but I wasn't comfortable with only a couple threads engaged.

I think I figured a way to get the wheels on with 1/4 spacers. Though having longer lug studs is the best approach.

I always thought the factory lug nuts have better reach into the threads than the conical type lug nuts that were sold with the wheels. So I tried mounting the wheels with the original factory lug nuts. I found enough thread turns like (4 or 5) to feel comfortable.

I mounted the wheels with the factory lug nuts and tightened everything down. The wheels seem to have some spring that is pulled in when fully tightened. Once I got the wheels mounted and the position on the hub adjusted using the factory lug nuts, then I swapped in the new lug nuts.

It seems kind of crazy but it worked for today. I'll be installing the 1" Boras when they arrive someday.

    Pictures below.

Side view. I took it out and tested it by turning circles with a full lock-to-lock of the steering wheel. I didn't think 245/75R16s would rub anyway.

    03_Wheels_Without_Grinding_c7522ac6d5050bae3dd9950ac46271e77d32f973.jpg

Wheels mounted during a test with the factory lug nuts. This let me know the approach might work.

    04_Wheels_Xtra_Tight_bcdb53a0a7380b65ce9bf03df624e6a3cecee5cc.jpg

After mounting and having the wheels fully tightened down, I started swapping the lug nuts from old to new.

Wheel installed with 1/4 spacer and the new lug nuts.
