    DSM from @FreshMexicanTaco used for a RAM Mount with a 3” extension is a perfect length to be able to reach my phone without letting go of the steering wheel - unplanned accident that worked out! Still in progress is my Un-Holey vent mount solution for my ham radio mic holder using a 6” extension.

    Mind if I ask about your hood protector; is that the AVS 436079? The matte finish one? If yes/no, which one and does it apply with 3m tape or mount directly to hood? How do you like it?
