    Not enough to list
Shit will buff out. Little touchup paint and polish will get those vehicles good as new

Sucks. But I'm certain the dealership has some sort of insurance. More concerned about the individuals and homes destroyed and washed away.

    That has to be disheartening!

    You bet!

Some (many?) dealers don't own their inventory because they are 'floor planned' from the manufactuer. IE the dealer makes interest payments. Not quite sure how insurance works on things they don't own........ but I'm sure there is some casualty rider on the property, which they may own if they are not a company store.

Yes they have insurance. However this is still devastating to a family run business. This is their lifes work. It was obliterated in a matter of minutes. I sent them a message on Facebook, wishing them well. Within the hour Kyle Riley sent me a message thanking me for the support. Send them a message, it means a lot to them.

I saw tornado's pull the blacktop off the roads during the April 3, 1974 storms.

Lived in Cincinnati back then...bad times.

Those are bank owned vehicles insurance will pick up the tab. The dealer is out of business for a couple months and they should have business interruption insurance for that.

For your info -- this is a respectable and a trustworthy dealer - I know from personal experience (my truck was purchased from them)

You may want to think before you speak! Your comment denotes something about YOU.
Kevin Riley's first comments were -- glad nobody was there when it hit (1150 PM)
Also that they had insurance that would take care of their employees while they were off work.

I heard there wasn't a single building that didn't get some type damage in Xenia, and Sayler Park. Most were leveled.

I lived in Elmwood...a little section of Cincinnati. We got damn lucky and just lost about half the shingles off our roof.

It will be interesting in the next month or so to see what happens with their inventory. Knowing that the owner stated that 75% of their inventory has been totally destroyed (this includes all of the GM products as well as the Toyotas), I wonder if Toyota and GM will restore their inventory to what it was. Most of the piled up cars appear to be the ones that are parked between the two buildings. I have not seen the damage in person, as they are asking gawkers to stay away, -good thing as there is a big bunch of real heavy power lines down in the same area.
I was out there a week or so looking over the inventory on a Sunday and was amazed how many new Tacomas they had in stock. I would class Riley as a mid sized dealer and they probably had 30 or so Tacomas on hand -- and they always kept them in the same two rows. The GM service area building was literally ripped in thirds -the middle section of the building just gone -down to bare concrete -blown over the hill somewhere. It was really a blessing of a sort that nobody was at the dealerships at the time the storm struck. There would have been loss of life up there, with all of that "metal" fllyng around -not just the cars, one of which was reported to have been picked up and thrown over top of the GM building landing 2-3 hundred yards away
Actually I drove by later yesterday on the highway (main highway) and the dealer looked like they were a dealer for bucket trucks as there was so many of those around

As a addition, today while I went over in the lesser well to do neighborhood to cut trees off of some properties, I learned some cars around town were picked up and thrown as far as a half of a mile.
After seeing the damage in this area I am more amazed that no one was seriously injured in this storm.

Dealership is not out a dime. His inventory is insured. The salesman have it the worse. They don't have much to sell. (That is what my salesman just told me.)

Kevin Riley - stated his employees will be taken care of while they are off work. This is my hometown and my dealer!
