Oh I get that and ya totally unknown source, but there is some solid probable cause to support this (current powerplant available in parts bin, etc.). I wanna see what she looks like more than anything and yes better MPG, everytime I test drive a tundra and think I'm gonna move into one the 15 MPG sinks in.

I would think that Toyota would be playing this very close to the hip.....and if the source works at the plant, well....I know I would have them fired and possibly bring charges of industrial espionage or some shit......the release date of 2021 is to far out for a “leak” (which are usually authorized to create buzz)

Dunno. 6k in weight.......might as well start lookin into a 1ton or bigger at that point...

Yeah I was overexaggerating. I get about 17 if I'm driving normal and not stepping on it everywhere.

    Stupidest idea ever.

If they actually follow through with a twin turbo on them, that will be the death of the all mighty Tundra.

What's your basis to assume "the amount of problems"?

Twin turbo would be sexy AF; I imagine those afraid of forced induction never having owned one.

Being boosted would mean Toyota would overbuild their powerplant which in turn means a lot of power to be made once tuned right.

2022, they filed a trademark for the name and leaked documents indicate the twin turbo v6 as at least an option.
