Bad start to the weekend

Weekend started off with a bang! Here's the events as I saw them........ going thru a yellow light, car going the opposite direction was waiting to turn left, she ( I guess thinking i was going to stop) proceeds to turn left and hits my driver's side front tire. She is claiming the light was red and I ran it. But, as I see it, if that was the case I would have struck the side of her car. She said..... he said. She squarely hit me! Obviously the suspension is fucked up but more concerning , the transfer case was leaking fluid like a siv

 

Damn dude! Everyone OK?

me and other driver reported no injuries...... pride is shot. 47 years of driving never had an accident

 

Businesses often have security cameras focused towards the front door and in the parking lot. Maybe canvas the local businesses and see if a camera picked it up?

 

That really sucks man. Hopefully you have good insurance.

Those situations ( you going on yellow and other driver turning left going opposite direction) could be tricky. I had quite a few close calls myself. Did any of you have dash cams?

 

Never report you don’t have an injury. Go to the doctor/chiropractor first. I did the same thing and learned the hard way. A week later I started getting a very stiff neck and back pain and insurance said it wasn’t from the accident and it was a pain to get them to cover the medical bills.

 

I did get a nice rental vehicle I'll tell a what..... I never was a Ram fan, but seriously this thing is Sa-weet! Has all the bells and whistles I can even just touch the up window switch and it goes up all the way! LOL Did I mention....POWER SEATS?

I’m so sorry. I am banging Judge Judy and she said it was the other driver’s fault.

Whether I had the light or not, she clearly turned into my vehicle. If the light was red, and she had already initiated her turn, I would have hit the front passenger side of her car

 

Cant stress enough how important dash cams are nowadays. It may be expensive, but in he said she said situations like this, it will save your premiums.

 

I don’t know how it is in your state but in NY the insurance companies fight it out and and cut you a check. It’s not worth worrying about.

 

Not too good, the way all the sheet metal is out of kilter...hood, grille, fender... better make sure everything's straight once it's fixed...

 

I hear ya.....taking it to a friends body shop..... totally trust him. Just sucks that no one will be there till Tuesday

 

The camera I got on Amazon was $40 and had good reviews

 

I had a $40 Amazon camera too, after 3 months it no longer took a charge. I got a go pro 7 now, obviously a bit more cash but its 4k and can read license plates.
