Changed the trans fluid in my 6speed. Used the redline MT/90. Only drove it a 1/2 mile or so but it seems to be a bit smoother.

Nice! Those match well! I'm starting to like them more on mine. I'm gonna pull them back out to permaseal them to be sure they don't condensate.

Only reason I'm looking into it is cuz my factory paper speakers are becoming too distorted... I took the xfinity reference 6.5s out of my s10 to temporarily replace the ones in front doors & figured while I'm @ it I might as well do it all!

Just curious, why would you want to add rear speakers?

What trim is it that has the speakers? My truck came with some super rare never before seen "TRD Track Edition" lol I always assumed it wasn't even a TRD because it has no rear diff lock. If it's not a base and not a TRD what is it? Sr5? (It's a prerunner)

    My question is:

factory torque for u-bolts is 37 ft lbs. What about the nuts for the u-bolt flip I'm using?

I know there's base, sr5, sport, trd off road, trd pro, tss & Texas edition. Maybe more special editions in limited areas...

This is a heavily debated topic in the car audio community. Here's my stance and that of many others... you'll get better sound quality with only front fill, especially if you have a subwoofer. IMO the only benefit to rear fill is if you routinely drive with passengers in the rear. But rear fill must be heavily processed to not hurt stereo image/ front stage. Will the average joe care about any of this? No. Will it be louder with rear speakers? Probably, If you have a decent amp. But either way, the better way to go would be a quality set of front components only. With a decent amp and/or an after market HU it'll be plenty loud. Rant over. :D

Don’t try to Plastidip while drinking!! Big mistake lol. I worked a 12hr night shift then started drinking at 8am and killed a 12 pack while staying up for 24hrs. The blacked out emblems look awesome but, for some dumb reason I decided to do some artwork on my hood and doors.
    Thank god it was Plastidip!!
