No it is all inside. Here are some pics. This is from the 4Runner one I just completed, but I installed it the same way I installed mine. I’m not really sure why I don’t have pics of mine.

Here you go people....take a look at some pics and a couple videos...

    Overview of my Door Panel:

    D9A7A53E-BC77-4B6F-822E-BAB26891D559.jpg

Door Lock / Unlock PNP Harness:

12V Constant Power PNP Harness & Power Fold Control Kit w/ Control PNP Harness:

New O1 Power Fold Switch Connector PNP Harness:

Now for the rest of what made this process possible...In order to complete the Power Fold Control Kit w/ Control PNP Harness, I needed to run a ACC Wire and a Ground Wire. I decided to use the Window Motor Power ACC White Wire Pin 13 in the Power Window Master Switch.

    E9F98EFE-6E2B-4269-8A9E-0834037981FF.jpg

I used this Wire once before when I had my Switchback Turn Signals, but made the switch when I went to RGB Turn Signals. As for the Ground Wire, I decided to to use the in my Window Motor Control Ground Pin 1 in the Power Window Regulator Motor.

    4CF5ECA0-78F2-45A0-AA2E-0AB52FA977FA.jpg

Now this part was the only part not PNP. Sorry guys. I can get the Ground I think worked into the PNP Harness. Im not really sure what to do about the ACC Wire. That one may be on the installer. You could do many things for that though. You do not have to do it the way I have chosen. You can always do a add-a-circuit. You do, however, need to wire it into our OEM O1 Connector.

    UPDATE:

    OPTION 2 PKG A - 3RD GEN TACOMA
    OPTION 2 PKG B - 3RD GEN TACOMA
    OPTION 3 - 3RD GEN TACOMA
I will be placing an order for 12 Kits. Once I receive them, I will put all of your orders together and ship them all to you guys. These should all be extremely easy Plug-N-Play Installs. Like I mentioned above, there will only be a few areas where you will need to be able to do some wiring. I will highlight them in the install guide. Everyone will get the install guide emailed directly to them. I obviously will need to make some changes to the install guide that I made prior with all the changes that have taken place over time. I am extremely excited for you guys to be the first group to get this product. While this Kit is on order, I will be trying to think of anything that I have possibly missed. However, the reason that I did this first batch this small is for that reason and that reason alone. I would love for as much feedback from this group as possible before the initial release after this order. Also, please remember, if you have opted for the FREE MESO Custom Bezel this First Batch ONLY from me in exchange for your OEM, let me know. Check the list and make sure I have you on the list with it noted. That is the best way to know if I have you down for one.

Thank You and get ready! :bananadance:

A lot of people were initially turned off by the price. But with all the hardwork and sweat put into this project, it is amazing what you can get all in one kit.

Thank you, @KTJO 4x4 for all the effort put into these.
First saw these in one of Meso's threads, asked bout them, then now it is almost a reality.

One of my biggest goals with this project wasn’t to make it look like it was a cheap wiring job. I wanted this to be a well thought out kit that if someone was going to spend their money on, it would be worth it.

From deciding between the two switches, I wanted to make sure that each customer would be getting all the functions that I wanted in the beginning, but also the ease of installation, the blue factory style cohesiveness back lighting, no chrome, and the fact that it was already made for a LH Vehicle. I attempted long and hard to convert the Auto RH Switch because that is the switch that I ultimately really wanted if you all remember. I was one step away from doing so. I just needed the Unfold part of the Switch, but then I got to thinking about the Kit and having the Harness made and etc.

Sometimes keeping it simple isn’t a bad idea. Therefore, I went to what has been working and I went to my second idea. I took the approach of making more of PNP Harness for the areas of which I had actually tapped and made myself with the other RH Harness. I reached out to my vendor and asked for a LH Harness with the same thing but with PNP Harnesses already made for me. The only difference in this one is I did not have 2 ACC Wires. The other harness included the ACC with Pin 7 on our OEM O1 Connector. Which could be an option for you guys, I’m not sure. I didn’t really want to do that because I just wanted to keep them seperate this go around. Anyhow, I had no idea if it would actually work as a PNP Harness or not. I just wanted to try it. I had nothing to lose at this point.

With this small batch, I just asked my vendor to make another adjustment for me with adding the Ground Wire to the Window Motor Control P24 Pin 1 off the Power Window Regulator Switch PNP Harness. With the ACC, I may look into including in the Kit something so that all you will have to do is push the Terminal into your OEM O1 Connector and then either Clamp a 3M Splicer onto your ACC Wire or something. I’m still trying to think of ideas to make it as easy as possible for my customers. Once I do that, this whole project will pretty much be almost Plug-N-Plug.

Let me remind you though, it’s a lot of running wires. You do have to run an extension cable from your passenger side to the drivers side. Do not forget about that. Haha. There has to be a connection between your Passenger Mirror and your Drivers Mirror ;) I cannot do anything about that. However, I can make it Plug-N-Play for you if you wish.

    UPDATE:

I have spoke with my vendor, he is making me a sample harness of exactly what I’m looking for in order to make this harness as much as a PNP Harness as possible for you guys as I can. :bananadance:

I have made a couple more adjustments:
    1. Added Ground Wire to the Window Motor Control P24 Pin 1 location off the Power Window Regulator Switch Connector. So now you will have the 12V Constant Wire located in Pin 2 location that goes straight to the Control Kit and then the Ground Wire located in Pin 1 location that you will take straight to our O1 OEM Connector and insert into Pin 5.
    2. Added an extra White Wire for the Power Window Master Switch P18 Connector Pin 13 location, with the correct terminal crimped on end and a Blue Male Spade Lug Crimped on the other end to be inserted into the included 3M Blue Wire Tap. So now you will have the ACC/ON Connection that you will be able to insert the white wire directly into our O1 OEM Connector into Pin 2 and then use the included, as mentioned above, 3M Blue Wire Tap directly to the White Wire coming from Pin 13 out of P18.
This is as much as I think I can make this Kit PNP.

Wow! I have been closely following this thread since I signed up here a few weeks ago. I am very much impressed by your work KTJO 4x4 on this mod. To actually see a working kit on your truck is awesome! I too have always wondered why Toyota
have not added this feature in their Tacoma models yet , and wished they have. Can't wait for the official release of this product, as Option 2/B + the new bezel into the switch panel, has made my "to add" list. Thank you for doing this! I believe this is going to be a hit!
