I tried the search and read the first 200 responses - maybe I used the wrong terms? So many threads.

Me = 2019 Cement TRD OR, I don't like the stickers of the back of the bed. But I might miss them once they're gone.

So 2 questions really, 1), whats your opinion about removing the stickers. 2) whats an effective way to remove the stickers? I kind of think they're a bit overboard and look out of place, especially on the Cement color.

Bonus: Is there a better sticker option that looks less ... kooky?

I'm in the same boat as you. I have read that it is best to leave your truck in the sun for a while, start at one edge and with a continuous pull remove the decal. Another method is to use a blow dryer. Then if needed, use goo gone to get any residue off. Alcohol could also be applied to removed residue. I have removed decals from other vehicles before and getting the decal off was not the problem. Getting the gummy residue was a little more time consuming. After having cleaned everything up, apply a fresh coat of wax to the area. On my Jeep, I had some custom decals and periodically I would replace or change them. Those were vinyl cut decals. Hope this helps.

I'm one of those that happens to think it looks better without the TRD decal. :crapstorm:

Here's a YouTube video that shows an easy way to remove them.

They don't look bad, but are a little much for my taste. I took mine off of my 2018 TRD Sport 4x4 within the first 3 days of ownership.

I was 50/50 on them when I got my SSM 2018 TRDOR. After a year I was no more fond of them than I was day 1 so I decided to remove them and debadge the doors- I now just have the obligatory flag decals on the doors and a calico jack on the tailgate and it looks so much better IMO. If they don’t knock ya out day 1 they’re really not going to grow on ya and from what I understand it is harder after a year than it is earlier (it wasn’t really hard but more effort than I thought).

Took mine off. Used my heat gun to warm the metal and peal the sticker. Used good off to remove extra adhesive residue.

You will not miss them. If you want want something that says “off-road” go out collect some dirt samples. Want a new look. Wash and repeat. It’s a blast.

I think certain color trucks need contrast like black fender flairs and stickers, especially Quicksand, calvary, white and cement. Some color trucks look great without like black, BBP and Barcelona red.

I just recently removed my TRD OR stickers and wish I did long time ago. Looks so much better without them.

Used a heat gun, goo gone, my thumb and then some polish and wax. Did it after almost a year.

I removed them from my White TRD OR after 6 weeks. It took a whole 5 minutes in 72 degrees.

I like the looks of the truck much better without them.

I removed mine on my inferno long bed last night, I plan to replace them with trd pro replica ones, but without the stickers the bed looks way longer

Removed them on my 2016 and 2014 , I was on the fence and did regret it occasionally . I left them on my current 2016 but think they look much better on the white truck

I’m a 2018 Cement TRDOR 4x4 and I removed the bedside decals within a few days of bringing it home from the dealer last summer.

In the last few days, I purchased this decal (not my truck in the picture):

    99DBF37E-8D59-4667-8378-3DA8ABD29660.jpg

I haven’t installed it yet but it looks pretty good to me and I kinda want to change up my current look.

Finally removed mine after debating since I've owned it.
Sadly, a LOT of sticker residue was left behind, but nothing some goof-off and elbow grease couldn't resolve. Looks MUCH better now.
