I used T-taps but also used the klein stripper to get through the insulation before placing the wire in the tap. I made sure of positive contact before closing the tap and plugging in the blade connector.

Finally getting closer to mounting in the truck.

Used 1-way Metri Pack 280 connectors for the accessory leads from the Bussmann. Index mark on the wire so I could line up each terminal the same before crimping. This is the FM which is #85010 at Del City.

The TPA clips are #85030 at DC.

All done - used black and red shrink wrap to differentiate fused only and relay leads.

Oh oh won’t fit through slats in my @Mr.PowerTrays bracket.

No biggie will run them out the bottom. Just have to mount the breaker and will be ready to install under hood. Metri Pack 280 has a 7-way connector that I may use as a plug-n-play at the firewall.

Nice, you could ream the slot at one end and feed them through in succession.

    @tacozord
I noticed something that might be confusing or in some cases simply redundant in part 5. Not a criticism, just an observation that might be helpful.

Aftermarket Toyota push switches(both short and long style) share ground for both the independent led and switch dependent led so if you are using the dash dimmer ground along with these switches the 6th wire no longer needs to be a ground. You can still install the 6-way connector and utilize the wire for another purpose. This would allow for a 6th overhead switch in the op's example. I have not opened up oem or any of the other switch brands to see how they differ. Obviously the Bussman only has 5 relays but sometimes independent relays are a necessity when current exceeds the individual circuit rating for the Bussman (compressor for example).

Here is a pic of the trace side of the toyota small push switch pcb. 09F55BAF-0DE3-4F42-8AA0-CE9FC881C66C_zps_9485334003966c7efab8170662188abe72dc2b46.jpg
The 2 wires poking through top right are the switch dependent led wires with the independent led set at top left. As you can see the inner wires for both leds are connected to the same pcb trace which leads to the ground pin connector.

Fyi, below the leds on each side are the solder points for the resistors which set max brightness(above and below notches in board edge). Changing led color and/or brightness is a beginner level soldering exercise.

For reference pins 1-5 left to right are:
    1. Independent/Dependent Led ground
    2. Independent Led power
    3. Not connected/unused
    4. Switch output
    5. Switch power

I want to get something like the Bussman installed on my truck. Since Pelfrey is no longer around, what mounting plate options would be the go with?

Bro I can barely muster up the drive to build the thing (I reached out to Cameron to see if he wants to get rid of his) so I was hoping to buy a plate prefabbed.

It looks really nice. I’m probably going to bother you about seeing it in person soon.

I ordered up a blank as well for my Manual transmission problems. Still working out the details.
