I think he should go for it. Then he can post just how far he got. Then when someone asks "how far can I get" in the future, they can be directed to this thread.

This thread is like watching NASCAR. The OP is in a major rush to get there. He's posting and reading while driving a truck that has an obvious brake problem. I hope the car behind him has a dash cam.

OP just make sure your cell phone has more battery life than your truck has gas. You'll need it to call someone.

 

Well If you take the diameter of pie and square root the terminal velocity of giraffe then you will find that penguins are gay so you wont make it.

 

I imagine in the time it took to post this, check updates and write out replies you could have stopped at a gas station and put $10 in the tank to insure you get to where you need to.

 

The money you saved on Craigslist can go towards a new fuel pump when you burn yours out!!

It’s Craigslist. The seller wants your money. They will wait for you. No need to rush.

If in a time crunch you'll get there a lot quicker buying gas before you leave than sitting on the shoulder of the road.
