Wanna come do my yard? Back yard is mostly clover and the front yard is mostly pine straw. I really want to rip it all out and lay down sod, but that's a huge project. Gotta cut down a bunch of pine trees, too.

Dude sod is crazy expensive. Around a dollar a sq ft! My whole front yard was all pine straw. Got it all up then did the seed by hand. Was work but saved me thousands. When we pulled the pine straw up, I killed over 40 snakes in 3 days. They love that pine straw. Never again will I have that crap, I hate it.

Yeah, I looked up the cost. It's crazy how expensive it is. First thing I need to do is get rid of the pine trees, though. I hate dealing with it, and I can't seem to get rid of it all.

Best thing you guys can do for a great yard is to aerate them like golf courses do. You would be shocked to see how much better your yard looks after punching it. Make sure to do it just before a rain.

On a side note if anyone finds some white Oakley’s floating in the ocean near the Isle of Palms they belong to me. Don’t paddle board with Oakley’s on.:censored:

Get some chubs. They are probably at the bottom of the ocean. That's been my experience with loosing oakleys into water.

I did at first, then killed 3 copper heads. Moved all the black snakes and most the other ones. Should have said killed/ relocated 40 snakes haha

We had a great racer who I'm pretty sure was keeping the pest population at bay. The dogs killed it, though. Copperheads suck. Every year I hear about someone getting bit by one. Those racers will kill and eat copperheads.

Well then we need to fix you! Chop head, cook body, eat food! It’s a bit chewy like alligator!

Regardless of taste and texture! Better than nothing!!! So... yea! Get ready.

There is a seafood place called JB's Fish Camp in NSB FL where we used to get gator. It's not my favorite meat, but it's not bad, either. Definitely on the chewy side.

No mud flaps, plasti dipped emblems, and rear bumper, Weather tech digital fit, Bed mat from tractor supply. Pioneer 4400BH head unit. B.A.M.F bed rail tie downs. AVS vent visors.
    Rattle snakes.

Racers/rat/ eastern black kind snakes are all good to have around. They will help keep the copper heads and rattle snakes away.

Eh a copperhead bite is pretty non life threatening. They don't even really make an antivenom for it. Only people who are allergic to venom such as that in bee stings, elderly, and infants are really at risk for serious injury or death by a copperhead. My mom's been bit and I got bit by a little baby yrs ago. Nothing more than some benedryl, keeping it clean, and treating it as an infection does the trick 99% of the time. It's a tissue destroying venom and causes a lot of swelling. The brown recluse bite I got a couple yrs back was far more painful and took longer to heal to put it in perspective.

I would keep an eye out more for other venomous snakes and spiders in the area than an old copperhead.
You gotta get a decent sized one rattlesnake is delicious
Tail meat is the best fried and with a cajun dipping sauce. The other parts of a gator are tough and the meat smokers in here could really make them good!

King snakes are the real champions of eating other snakes the other ones would rather take on easier prey like mice, frogs, and lizards.
These guys are viscous when it comes to taking down a rattlesnake even if they are double their size

It's the kids I worry about. Every time I hear about a copperhead bite it's a kid that got bitten. :(

Found a king out back the other day. Left it be as I'd rather have a king back there than any other snake or rats. He slid into the gopher holes and I haven't seen that digging bastard so hopefully the snake took care of his bitch ass. Lol
