I recently caught a couple episodes of this series Dark Side of the Ring on Viceland, and they were really good. Very nostalgic for me as I was a big wrestling fan when I was a kid (80's kid) and I remembered some of the scenes shown on The Montreal Screwjob (Hitman vs Shawn Michaels) and the lastest one about Randy Savage and Ms. Elizabeth.

There were a few episodes before that I was able to check out that dealt with the famous wrestling family, the Von Erichs, and another on the Fabulous Moolah. Both were before my time, but the episodes were still really good.

If you grew up a wrestling fan or even still watch it to this day, you should find some time to check out this series. I don't watch wrestling anymore, but it was great to go back in time while I watched these episodes and really get to see what was going on behind the scenes.

The Von Erichs episode was heart wrenching. I remember those guys being bad ass. Right up there with the 4 Horsemen but I didn't know about their downfall. Really felt bad for the one remaining brother. Looking forward to any more upcoming episodes.

Yeah that was really sad how all of took the same route. It was crazy! But the remaining brother was doing well and seemed to be in a good place with his family. That was nice to see. His kids do have some of the traits of his brothers. That was cool too.

I just watched the one shit Bruiser Brody. That guy was awesome, seeing him just parting crowds because they were terrified of him! What a great wrestling persona he created. I was actually pretty grief stricken with what went down with him, and told by Tony Atlas. It was so sad. I hope one day, whether through actual justice or karma that the guy known as the Invader gets what he deserves.
