What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

The OEM bump stops have about 3 inch flats, so I ended up getting an 18 inch pipe wrench, since I didn't have anything big enough. With that it was not too bad, considering most of the bolts on my truck require an act of God to break loose. With the pipe wrench and a little PB blaster, they broke loose pretty easily. Then it was just annoying because I could only get about a 1/4 turn before having to get another grip with the wrench.

Tacomaholic has a good video on replacing his. In the video he is replacing them with a different brand, but he shows how much of a pain it is to get the old ones off.

Nice RC base. Love the color match grill w/ black bumper. You just need dogs in those covered holes. Did that w/in first month I had it.

 

Finally mounted the ScanGauge I've been telling myself I'd mount for 4 years:


Put in a glovebox organizer I've been telling myself I'd put in for 2 months:


And taped on some gel armrests for my knee and elbow. 10/10 recommend:

What do you mean yellow as in oxidize or w/e called... like some of headlights like I've seen. I thought bout putting a light tint over it cuz I dont like how clear see though it is.

 

Anybody know if after market tail lights can be opened like headlights? Cuz when I do my retro fit headlights I wanna splatter red paint for a blood effect. Wanted to know if its be possible to do to tails.

Last Tuesday while crossing an intersection a drunk driver t boned a car injuring the driver and I got hit also. In the inside the bumper support just below the headlight and behind the bumper skin was bent inward, no sign of other structural damages or anything serious. Glad I have a dash cam!
