I own a 2016 Limited 4wd, bought it new in 2016 and have never been impressed with the stance or ride quality. Stock Mich tires have finally worn out and I'd like to make a change. Its a daily driver, about 25,000 miles per year, with some minor off road during hunting season.

Wheels - I like the TRD-Pro wheels, both the Taco 16" and the 4Runner 17". Leaning more to the 17" 4Runner wheels, mainly because they're cheaper. Can someone tell me if they typically come with TPMS sensors and lugnuts?

Tires - Going with either the BFG TA KO2 or Toyo Open Country AT2. I've had both on previous 3/4 ton diesel rigs and they held up and drive well. Figure they'll do the same on a Taco. Not sure what size though. I want larger but not massive. Maybe a 32" tire?? Not sure if I'd need a full lift, a level, and body lift, or some combo of those three. Any help here would be appreciated. I've searched the forum and theres multiple answers that conflict with each other.

Suspension - Limited suspension SUCKS! Youd think the top end vehicle would have the best of everything. Ties in with my question about tires but it's also a question of it's own. I'm not against a lift, but I'd rather not spend thousands. However I refuse to just stick blocks in the rear and a leveler in the front, and make the ride worse than it already is. If I go to a 32" tire, what's the best option for a lift/level without breaking my 4 kid (two in college)....and a wife, bank. LOL!

Stock Limited 18" wheels - what are they worth/selling for?

Stock wheels don't sell for much . They usually only sell for around $500 with like new stock tires on . You might want to store them as they will be nice to have when you sell the truck , if you have the room .

If I could get what the set of 17 " TRD Pros cost, or even close, I'd turn loose of them quick

Wheels - TPMS sensors and lug nuts will not normally be supplied with new wheels.

Tires - Your not likely to find an AT tire that will ride as comfortably as the stock Michelins. Those tires are light and have soft sidewalls. A larger, heavier AT tire just won’t feel as smooth.

Suspension - Simply swapping to the OR suspension might be a decent option. Slightly used OR suspensions can be found here or on craigslist regularly and they’re inexpensive.

BTW, the Limited has the same suspension as the SR and SR5. If you change the thread title to something less Limited-specific (or start a new thread), you’ll probably get more responses.

You missed out on the 40th anniversary sale, could have scored Pro Wheels for 40% off, I ended up taking advantage of it for a skid plate
