100k mile A340e transmission threw code P1783 won’t shift into overdrive and the o/d button does not work. The ext power light doesn’t work all solenoids ohms read 13.7 at 17 psi. It has new fluid an screen. This is my second trans mission the first trans took me a awesome 334800 miles an saw 7 mountain passes. All ideas an thoughts will help me pinpoint an idea an or can weed out what has or hasn’t been done thank you

So was this initial run of this tranny? Used transmission, of course so I mean your initial startup and test?

Did the swap all sels turned out identical in ohms an pressure test. Took the gear shift cup holder app out and probed the overdrive wires an got nothing. Now the key won’t turn off had to unplug break safety solenoid wire harness for it to turn completely off. The break solenoid will not engage now

if you are talking about the shifter interlock / ignition key not releasing the shifter bushings are worn not allowing the shifter to push the interlock switch... pop the cover off and look and you will see what I am talking about.

Oh yeah those bushings have been out for ever! I have all four of them just haven’t got to that phase yet: I have no current going to the I.S. It won’t read on volts m. Even following the wire to the harness before the shift lock control box doesn’t read at all.. ecm or some current surge is what I feel maybe happening from something. Probing all these wires brake on brake off shifting acceleration of foot pedal just to see if something would do something.. haha! With Overdrive out an the I.S. Out just sounds like a surge in false computer readings.
