I regretted not getting an OR for the first couple weeks of having my sr5 4x4. I live in Utah and off-road a bit. Just got back from Moab and my sr5 did Top Of The World about as easy as it could have gone (granted, I did take the easier lines in a couple parts cause I don’t have armor or sliders). However, new wheels and a bit of a lift makes a big difference. Down the road I may end up adding a rear locker, but for now my sr5 has really surprised me. For a daily driver that I use for some off-road shenanigans this thing does great.

Bought my SR5 in August, instantly loved it, but started to wonder if I should have gone with the OR. I just don't have a need for 4WD though, and none of the other TRD extras really appealed to me. Any doubts I had completely vanished months ago ... very happy with the SR5.

I like the look of all Tacomas but appreciate how the SR5 is kind of understated compared to the Sport. I dig simple, sharp, (mostly) stock trucks and the SR5 was a good fit.
