New to this forum ...but not to the Tacoma

    Hello,

    3rd Tacoma at our home now. We love the truck. The Dealership we frequent is 75 miles away (each way) but we return there each time it's time to trade.

    We added a tonneau cover, necessary where we live. Since our garage houses the tractor, another necessary 'thing' in our area, our Tacoma lives outside the garage.

    I like how the vehicle rides and drives. Seems our new 2018 model has better traction even when not in 4WD. We live on a hill, our drive way is pitched and curved. The Tacoma can pull out of the driveway even when we have a foot of snow in the driveway without me having to engage 4WD.

    Some of the new 'options' are a bit more than we need. The automatic dimming headlights..had to shut that option off. Since we live on a rural road, no street lights, when we would slow down to 30mph or less ..the headlights went to low beam and would not come back up to high beam. I need all the light I can get to avoid the deer, moose and wandering wildlife here. I don't use the cruise control, I have not figured that out in over one year of ownership. My husband uses it when we travel the interstate, that distance monitoring and maintaining is rather 'weird' to adjust to if you don't use the cruise control all that often.
