I was wondering if anyone has tried to use a T-harness instead of splicing into the brake lines for you camper shell's third light? I found this kit on etrailer:

I might just buy the whole kit but was wondering if anyone knew of something better?

You can dot that or just ground the black wire and t-tap the brake lights illumination wire
