Gun Metal Cap on Dark Grey?

I have a dark grey 2011 TRD Sport DC. I'm looking at a used Cap / shell and it's gun metal grey color. It's over an hour drive so I need to visualize how that would look. How do you think a gum metal cap would look on a dark grey Taco?

The cap turned out to be pyrite mica and my truck is MGM. I won't waste timing posting a photo since nobody is looking. haha

 

Maybe try the photoshop threads and somebody can doctor up a pic for you?

Uh, not quite sure of your color descriptions without specific color codes or Toyota's color names.
I got a used magnetic gray metallic (MGM) dark cap for my 2015 silver SKY metallic (SSM) light (1D6), and it looked pretty good, and several other folks told me that too. I'll post a pic in a few.

 

Why would I need that? The cap is on my truck now.

Yea the guy was over an hour away and said it was"gun metal" color. It looked silver in his pics but kind of dark. His Taco is red so he didn't know. When I pulled into his driveway I immediately knew what it was. It was a mismatch either way so I didn't care. Finding a used short bed Taco cap ain't easy around here. He said he had over 20 calls for it. I was the first one to get there because I dropped everything and went the next morning. He was pretty far out in the country so that helped.

Yeah, that is pretty much what I did for my used Leer 100XQ with bells and whistles. It would be a $2500+ cap new, he listed it for 1k on craigslist, it needed a little TLC, and I got it for 900, and he through in a full bed rug, which I turned around and sold for $300.
