    Hey All,

My 2008 Tacoma rear window has been leaking for the last few weeks. It has the rear sliding window (which I have maybe opened once in the last 6 years of owning my truck) and the seal seemed to be pushed out a bit. After pushing the seal back in place it'll hold in light rain, but has continued to leak during heavy rains. The interior of my truck is now wet and smelling like a wet moldy dog. As I live in south Florida and with summer fast approaching, I was looking to replace the entire window seal. After a frustrating search, it seems my only option is to replace the entire rear window, as according to the dealership, they do not sell the seal separately from the window. (convenient for them!!)

The leak is not coming from the third break light or the drains as I checked both, so it is definitely the window seal. Can anyone recommend something that I can use as a replacement seal until I am ready to replace the entire window. (Not looking to spend $1000+ dollars right now)

Look around junkyards for a good deal on a rear window.

Did you remove the window first?
