    Since i'm bored at work and have some down time;

    so from browsing the different fabs for rock sliders / steps,
    this is a list i pulled together of what seems to be the more "popular" ones and figured the list might be useful to someone else further down the line:

    Relentless Fabrication - Doesn't do sliders anymore since their bumpers are selling faster than sweet rolls
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/relentless-fab-bolt-on-rock-sliders.580970/

    SOS Concept - kickout seems really small?
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/sos-concepts-sliders-3rd-gen.402448/

    White Knuckle Off-Road products - i can't find any decent images on their site without them mounted to see if the kickout has support
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/rock-sliders.435359/

    Cali Raised LED - (need to form an opinion on these, they seem ok) but 25 degree angle on them brings concerns with flex and rubbing the paint on the underside of the door
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...oyota-tacoma-rock-sliders-100-bolt-on.556121/

    All Pro Offroad - doesn't have that kickout support Bay Area Metal Fabrication -
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/bamf-true-100-no-drill-bolt-on-sliders.366293/

    Mobtown-Offroad - (your guys' recommendation)
    https://mobtownoffroad.com/product/2016-2020-toyota-tacoma-heavy-duty-bolt-on-rock-slider/

    RCI Offroad - (other recommendation)
    https://rcimetalworks.com/product/2016-tacoma-rock-sliders/

    I know there are hundreds of others, it's just a short list
    atm;

    Mobtown and Cali raised are on the top of the list for myself, but don't know which has the better mounting.
    RCI just behind it thanks to the cost of it. BUT i should probably spend the little extra to get something better, than buying 2 sets of sliders because the others failed to do so.

    Any opinions of the others?

    Square tubing for the stand offs is stronger so mobtown would be my choice

    Or build yourself. Its a lot cheaper lol

    I'd build one myself but i don't trust the welds to save my life as i've never welded before
    i'm a woodworker, not a metal guy :cookiemonster:

    Just sliders, don’t need to save your life, just strong enough to save your rockers

    If I had to do it again, I would either buy Mobtown or weld my own but have them bolted on for future service/repaint.

    Fill plates is nice to have in the winter so the snow doesn’t pile up in between if you care.
