Anybody here can cut a custom plate from aluminum? Is roughly 13.5" X 16" X .5".
Needs to be cut by plasma, water, laser, etc.
Will be used as a base plate on the bed to support the spare tire.
Below is the pic and I can send the CAD file. How muck $$$ ?

Are you making just one? Why not just cut it with an angle grinder?

I cut alum on my table saw. Although, I never have cut 1/2 inch. For steel I replace the carbide blade (in the table saw or chop saw) for a 10 inch silicon alum abrasive disk.

It’s a rectangle so it should be pretty clean with an angle grinder. You can switch to a flapper disc and clean up the edges quickly after cutting it. Won’t be perfect but should be close enough that no one will be able to tell

For aluminum (and copper), I use a combination carbide blade. You want something with a non-aggressive rake. Read the warning on the blade it will say something like not for Ferrous metals. For steel, I use/need a 10 inch silicon carbide abrasive disk.
