I just ordered two sets of Baja designs lights-
    Squadron Sport - Wattage/Amps: 26W / 2A
    Black S2 Sport - Wattage/Amps: 12W / .9A

I no longer have factory fog lights with my bumper. I'd like to put one of each of these on both sides of my truck, and splice them into the factory fog wires. Aside from the legality of running so many lights, will the factory wiring be able to provide enough juice to power these lights and will I still need the fuses built into the baja design's wiring?

    Thanks much!

Plenty. Vehicle fog circuit has 15 amp fuse. No need to add another fuse downstream.

That's compatible with the Baja designs plugs?

You would just make cables. Cut, strip, crimp, heatshrink the cables. Just buy the connections/terminals.

Oh, understood thank you. Is that any different than just cutting the heads off the factory cables and splicing?

Splicing you're just tying it in or soldering it. If you use connectors, you may be able to retain factory wiring and have it plug and play. You'd have to figure out what male and female ends. I'd modify the harness over the factory wiring.

Okay, great- thank you again. I'm not the most educated in electrical. I wasn't sure if there would be too much current running to the bulbs without an additional fuse between the power source and the bulbs.

It will be fine as stated, but why would you run Squadrons with low beams and off with high?
I put my own relays and harnesses and switches in - that way it works exactly how I want it to.

...damn I didn't even think of that. I just finished wiring mine too. Off topic but my lock nuts seized up on both the brackets that I tried to install so I can't get them tight or even loosen them

Your talking about the yellow nut? Were they the same thread?
You should be able to get it off and replace the hardware.

I used security bolts for all of mine, both the M10 (red) and the main (yellow)

Yeah, the yellow one. The thread is right but I think it got crosstreaded because of the angle that my bumper is at (I can barely fit the wratchet in there). It is absolutely stuck, i cant even make it budge with leverage. I think im going to have to cut it off -_-
