I just checked, that little gap looks normal.

See if MESO can get you a replacement. You could zip tie it up for the time being. Then swap it when you get a replacement so you can keep going. You should be able to pop it on later when you get a new cover.

There are still 4 tabs left I think. It should still hold?

Same. I half broke a tab when I realized I had to pull it off the cut the tab for the passengers side. For anyone having trouble with the power connector for the window switch, push on the piece that actually holds the collar in place with a screwdriver/pick. It's a little step looking thing.

Use a flat head or pick and pry it from the outside around the edge. At the same time, reach in from the inside and push. It should pop out.

    I finally got it.

I actually crawled down to the footwell and pushed from the inside. My boot kept wanting to slightly tear from the cab side so if I kept it up I may not have a boot left. Used flathead to push, came out. Thank goodness

it's in there, still has the gap, but the other tabs are holding it. Pushing forward!

You did a good job with the dynamat! Not a bad idea on extra clips.

I told my wife last night I have project for tomorrow, told her I need 4 hours to be safe. She said ok, but tell me one thing, is it for the truck? I grinned and said yes it is, but it’s for safety I swear lol! She laughed and said sure it is!

Thanks, probably the most time consuming mod taking out entire interior except the dash. 90% dynamat coverage and another 90% dynaliner. Not luxury car quiet but much better.

Here's fitment on an OEM drivers mirror. There is a tiny gap on the inside ~1.5MM. It won't affect the overall fitment or waterproof(the inside already gets water in, that's why there is a drain hole) But it's something I am going to keep in mind and try and tweak the mold.

When its mounted up and upside down it's a little less noticeable

Wow! That’s hard core, I bet it’s night and day I couldn’t imagine. I’m sure you know the inside of the truck like the back of your hand now!

Thanks for confirming. Noticed the passenger mirror fit perfect. Just making sure I'm not crazy.
