I don't have any pictures that will do more justice than these or the ones @Misplaced Nebraskan posted, but I will vouch for the quality of the shakers! Our BBQ team will be using these for events and competition - 2 each. Holds a LOT of rub, the lid dials in easily, and they are a quality product. Not to mention Triple S's precision laser beaming :D.

PM me and @Kanyon71 if you're wanting to do one with the Pitfaced BBQ logo, otherwise get a custom one (or four) for yourself!

I dunno, I think they use a lot of fuel. Perhaps not compared to the btu/heat they produce but more than a campfire.

Even in the video the person fed a good amount of what looked like oak kindling in that thing even in the short demo video to boil the little pan of water.

The extra heat they produce comes from somewhere, it comes from the wood and oxygen burned. Greater efficiency, more airflow, and higher heat means more fuel (wood) consumed to produce that extra heat. It may be more efficient in that the heat is more concentrated and directed, but I don't think it really burns much less wood.

But... I can always be wrong! I'll have to make one and play with it. Looks like a fun thing to bust out at a camp site for sure.
