Another great Mod day held by @StAndrew . Great seeing @DaveEli and @bonifacio_629 again. Sorry no group photos again. We are bad at doing that. Here is a few of what I finished of getting wired up today

Assateague was a blast, minus the 15-20mph winds all last night. Holy crap I thought I was gonna pull a wizard of oz and fly away in my tent. I’m glad I staked the ever living fuck out of it. Our camp neighbors weren’t so lucky and their tent collapsed on them overnight.

Today we got ran out of there by the black flies biting the shit out of us. So we packed up and came home a day early. Fine by me, I’m ready to not have sand in every orifice.

 

I grew up in NewKent just off route 60 in Quinton. That place sure has grown!

 

All the gravel roads I use to run as a kid are paved now. We use to go to a place called lost city in varina but it's a housing development now. There is a new wildlife management area out toward West Point but I dont know what they have for access yet.

 

They developed the lost city!? No kidding. I guess I shouldn't be surprised but I haven't been down that way in a LONG time.

Also does this mean my truck is garage kept?

 

I’ll have to check out that place in West Point. Not looking forward to the smell lol!!!! Once you cross the bridge coming from Lanexa and can see the Paper Mill that smell is no joke!!
