What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Thank you. I have a Ranch Hand brush guard that is not tight between the brace and push bar. It is rusting. Started rusting after a month. The distributor wanted me to pay shipping to fix their crappy work. I'll just pull it off my '15 TACO and repaint it myself.

 

Finally got my brake fluid flushed. Had to get a bit creative with how to run the chains for the universal adapter on my bleeder.

While I was under there I determined that I will need to give ECGS some of my money for their front diff bushing. Also did the power steering fluid flush and got a new spare tire as the old one had some funky wear on the sidewall.

 

Installed these a week ago; had to get the wiring harness to remedy flickering headlights. Looking to install a 24 inch light bar behind the grill instead of lower bumper, wondering if anyone had to get specific brackets. TIA

touched up the Satoshi grill, it's been on for over a year I think
tidied up here and there and took it out for a ride

 

Thought about it but would have to be beneficial like ordering bushings and Dom in quantity to bring cost down.
I'll test my truck out on them and see how it goes. Maybe a future plan is in the works.

 

Tried "clocking" my zerks on my TC upper arms to no avail. I even swapped them between arms and tried different positions. When they are tight, I can't get a grease gun on them. Already sent TC an email and they suggested clocking them.
I need to grease them so I can get rid of the slight squeak that is there (yes, I greased them before assembly).

Wonder if I could pick some up from a local hardware store and use those?

Bought a pack of 10 from Grainger. Picking them up on Monday.

 

you may be overtightening them or undertightening them. They are not bolts, they don't really need to be torqued to an exact specification. If they are snug and you can get the grease gun on them, you'll be fine

 

Took the new 255/85 Coopers up to the local mountain with the dog today, went well, enjoyed the fresh air and great scenery.

 

After weeks of bad weather and rain I finally washed buffed and polished it

Prinsu!!! And finally finished my switch panel..... boogered up the door a bit on the corner but it doesn’t look terrible. I may pick another one up and redo it at some point. The rack install went way smoother than I thought it would. Hours of YouTube research probably helped

 

These and Daystar cradles shipped today. Not sure how well they will like my air bump my air bump mounts though...

What sized bar in your grille? Looks clean with out a gap from the smaller ones

 

Cleaned up my rats nest of wires with this nifty bus bar. Still have one part to tackle but it doesnt bother me since I dont see it often

 

I just ordered Energy Suspensions sway bar bushings also.

 

Finally I can listen to something beside the radio stations

 

Just took a picture of the drivers side. There are no rub marks so maybe all the noise I hear is from the TC bushings?

Installed rear Kings and swapped out the AllPro TC skid for a matched set. Bumper to bumper all the same brand. More mods soon.
