So here I was, pulling home today’s catch, small in comparison to a few I caught last week. When this guy turns around, his jaw hit the ground, he pissed his pants, and fell over. What should one do with a small human?

Skinny punks got no business wearing a coonskin cap.

Fess Parker must be rolling in his grave.

    Daniel Boone was a man
    Yes a Big man
With an eye like an eagle and as tall as a mighty oak tree....

Some of you are old enough that you watched that show. And loved it...
    Admit it. :)
And you loved his Indian buddy Mingo too (Ed Ames).

    Daniel Boone.jpg

Remember when Johnny Carson had Ed Ames on and had him demonstrate tomahawk throwing?
    Hilarious.

    I'm thinking Alligator Gar.
The one in the picture doesn't appear to have the spines that sturgeons do.

I can hardly imagine catching one of those.
I once caught a Gar when I was a teenager, a puny 3 foot one.
And it was one helluva fight.

    Showed it to my Grandfather
He said, oh, that's a little one.
    And they ain't good eating.
    Put it back.

And I was so proud too.
