I feel ya. I work in a town that was built in an actual swampland

 

A guy I work with eats all of them he can get. I've never cleaned one but the "tenderloins" are supposedly pretty good.
Catfish are the go to diner served fish around here. There's not a fish in the water that eats anything more stanky than a catfish, yet they taste pretty damn good.

I ve hooked a six ft before had to cut the line it was 4am by my self. The way I measured him is while he was in the water his nose hit the corner post tail hit the next post lil over 6ft

 

Were you fishing for gar or something else?
