Well, took the maiden voyage with our boat today. Got the truck up to about 65 while it was attached. No issues at all, but there isn't much elevation change and we can't be more than 1,000 ft above sea level, if we were in a more hilly area I'd be a bit more worried. I could definitely feel the weight while both accelerating and braking. At this weight I think the truck is really just about to the end of my comfort zone. An

I was extremely happy with my suspension setup. For those of you looking to make this truck handle weight the way a truck should, that is, with a little bit of rake and a level body when loaded up, then I really would have to recommend a similar setup. The suspension really was necessary to make this truck handle the towing, tongue weight and payload that it is rated for. The stock stuff just couldn't cut it. You'll notice in the photos that the truck is almost perfectly level while loaded up with whatever tongue weight this boat provides. I'll have to weigh it soon, because at this point I have no clue what it clocks in at.

You look like you're in the midwest somewhere (judging by the Silver Lake comment), whereabouts? Nice truck! I'd kill to have a Spruce Green Mica 2nd gen myself.

    Michigan!

I have moved a couple times, but was mostly down state and as of 6 months ago I find myself living in the Traverse City area.
