Updated list of things o have done still doing it!!

    Replaced cam sensor

    Replaced idle air control valve

Inspected all spark plug wires which are new and replaced with factory denso plugs from Toyota place!!!

Still skipping/misfiring every now and again. Idling to high around 1200-1300. I took apart the entire throttle body and cleaned it well!

So did you ever find the reason for the skipping?

I'd be interested in hearing a solution to this problem too. I bought my truck last September and did a head gasket (along with much routine maintenance for good measure since it was new to me truck) and have had the same issue. It's got a high idle and a very subtle miss when driving at highway speeds. I don't really notice anything at idle though.
