well, from what ive heard,4wheelonline.com is a reputable place, and my wife pointed out that there is a small hole/tear in the box about the same spot as the dent, so we are suspecting that it was damaged in shipping. that made me feel a little better about it. im still unpatient as hell though:D!! i was gonna mount it and my hella's, with which i painted the light covers to match my truck......looks sweet. now i guess i gotta do some more waiting!!

I talked to an Aries dealer and was told a lot of their stuff is aluminum as opposed to thick gauge steel. great for weight savings but aluminum on car and truck exteriors equals dents. you didn't even get a chance to put it on your truck!

yeah man.......i couldnt believe it myself..............8 days to get it picked up, almost two weeks to inspect it, then new product ordered, and you know how ups is:rolleyes:. glad this one was ok though, i think i woulda flipped if it came in dented again. but i do gotta say that 4wheelonline.com stayed true to their word with the replacement(even if it did take a while).

I do almost anything not to deal with UPS. I would rather pay a lot extra than use a company that uses them to ship.

I hear ya! Ya know, it kinda sucks that UPS gets away with what they do. They are overbloated (kinda like the Government) and they get away with substandard service and no matter how much you try to plea, negotiate or threaten them they scoff. They know you are a pion and can make no difference. There is no accountability and always plausable deniability.

My packages have been lost, beaten and forgotten in my years. And the answer is always the same, some unknown rep who I never spoke with before and has nothing to do with it says: "I'm sorry for your inconvenience sir."

Then they do absolutely nothing except blow hot air up your ass and do their useless procedures that offer nothing but more waste of time and money.

I think there are too many companies that just feel too untouchable. And it's one thing if you can go elsehwere, but most of the time there is no "elsewhere."

Okay: Keith has just come down from his soapbox now.
