    hi folks,
I’m posting to introduce myself. I’m Rick from just outside of asheville, nc and totally new to any kind of 4wd vehicle. I’m an avid off-road motorcycle person having done that (and continue to do) for over 50 years. Nope, I’m no spring chicken ;). My new 2019 TRD Off-Road is also my very first Toyota. I have been dreaming of one of these vehicles for many years and am very excited to join the ranks here. In researching the truck, this site has been a valuable resource and my thanks go out to the excellent contributors. I fear, as a newb I’ll likely be a taker as opposed to a valued contributor since the truck and the hobby is all new to me. I am a motorcycle suspension professional and a gear head so I’ll likely have a high level of confusion :D

I’m hoping this will be a place where I can ask stupid questions about setting up and driving my truck (I’m a guy so obviously I am already an excellent driver:))

Anyhow here is a photo of the new truck:

    Thanks for reading my post.

    Like, so many.
Looks great. Here are some things to consider:
    1. Get a bed mat. It's a life saver.
    2. Get some all weather floor mats.
    3. Hondo Garage radio knobs. Trust me.
    4. Paint that tow hook to be like the cool kids.
    5. Do that rear diff breather mod. It'll be easy for you.
    6. Check out the regional forums if you haven't already. Best part of the forum.

    Hello:

Trade it in for a long bed, more of the bike will fit in the bed.

Right! And then you see Timmy driving down the road with his new set of wheels, bragging about his gasshole (Rick you'll hear all about Meso soon enough), and you find yourself saying "Just one more mod and I'm done.."

I have a good buddy with a ‘13 black Tacoma called “Darth Vader” who yesterday coined mine as “Storm Trouper”. It’s important that any advice on modifications follow that theme! :D Right now I’m hesitant to take it on a gravel road, it has 38 miles.:angrygirl:
