My bed is definitely not square on my 2018 DCSB TRD OR. I didn't really notice until I put wide tires/wheels on it and now I can see another ~0.5" of tire on one side over the other sticking past the fender flare and it bugs me. If I look at how the front of the bed lines up to the rear window, I can tell the bed is slightly more to the LH side than the RH side. I would prefer Toyota align the bed.

Have you had this done and were they easy about it? Did they fix it for you?

    Thanks!

This is normal. Nothing wrong with your truck. The axle is offset for a reason

Just get a 1/2" spacer and put it on the side that is short.

Not sure why really, maybe driveline angle, maybe auto limited differential.. I dont know. What I do know is that This is the way it comes from the factory... you only notice now because you got bigger tires.

My bed was crooked and offset. The dealer wanted it for a whole day. I said no thanks, and went to Harbor Freight and got the torx bit and a breaker bar and fixed it in my driveway in less than an hour.

I was going to suggest he do that on the way home from the dealer or take the shuttle to him while he waits for his answer from the dealer.

My bed and cab were both out of alignment with the frame, they gave me a free 2-day rental and their body shop had to realign both to the frame. Look down both sides of the truck to see if there’s any misalignment between the bed and cab sides, and measure from the frame to the bed and cab on both sides.

I put an old post about it here back in 2017 when I got my truck. A bunch of others with same issue every year

If it is misaligned at the cab by 1/4 to 1/2 inch and your OCD missed that, but notice the tire.

It is only noticeable to people with priapism. Turn your head and cough: it will go away.

Yea, but did they measure the cab? Mine had to be realigned also.

Yeah, I saw you driving down the highway, the bed looks all better now

No seriously, measure the cab to the frame to be sure it is square first, then align the bed.
